FINANCE COMMITTEE Thursday February 23, 6:15pm SOUP KITCHEN SERVING Saturday, February 25th Prep and serving will run from11:00 AM - 1:30 PM. We have had 63 different parishioners involved thus far. Kids are welcome. Those interested in cooking/ serving at the Soup Kitchen, call Joe Twidwell or the Rectory to get your name on a list of volunteers. CHURCH CLEANING: Sunday, March 11, 12:00 noon. Volunteers appreciated- no prior experience necessary. SOCIAL COMMITTEE MEETING: 2nd Monday of the month; March 12; 6:30pm in Community Room. We will discuss the calendar and Circle of Hospitality. PARISH COUNCIL: Thursday, March 15, 6:15pm, Meeting Room HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Volunteers from our parish will be working at Habitat for Humanity Homes on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:30 AM. The next day will be March 17, 2012. | CATHOLICISM INQUIRY SERIES: Sunday evenings after the 5:30 Mass. About 1 hour. This is a time for Catholics and those interested in becoming Catholic, to learn more about the Catholic Church, who we are, what we believe and why we do what we do. It includes a video with Fr. AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY Afternoon Bible study of the Mass will continue to meet at 3:30 on Monday afternoons after the New Year. Everyone is welcome. Come on a regular basis or just drop in when you can. There is nothing to buy...bring your Bible or use one that is provided. We have begun a regular program of visitation to bring communion to people who cannot come to the church due to illness or disability. If you know of someone who would like to have a visit, please call the rectory to get their name on our list. We will need an address and phone. If youwould like to volunteer to make calls, please contact Deacon Joe 712-253-9273 or the rectory 605-235-1942 to volunteer. We will offer a short training opportunity for those interested.
